Undissolved salt can either cause pitting so never leave foods sitting in cookware for long period of time. Heat cookware gradually and avoid placing a cold pan over higy heats as this can cause the metal to warp. Never place empty cookware on a very hot element as this may cause irreperable damage. Burnt food stains should be soaked and then washed inhot soapy water. Food sticking to the interior of cookware is usually a sign of too much heat. Try using lower cooking temperatures and be sure to turn the heat down as soon as the contents reach boiling point or the desired heat. To maintain the high quality finish on your cookware, polish once or twice a year if you wish.
